My first foray into the world of abstract. Followed a tutorial from the net and came up with this shape. Gave it a material and a light, and voila!

Edit: Oh yes, silly me... I have to credit ~yuejun85 for tweaks in the material and the idea of the lighting. ^^

Update (25 June 2006): Second winner of the Graffiti Drawing Competition [link] Thanks again to my gf ~yuejun85 for the lighting effect. :)

I never understood how to do lightwork, since I just got Photoshop and never came to DA before,

thanks! this piece was done in cinema 4d (a 3d animation software), actually...

in photoshop, i believe you can go to filter > render > lens flare to get a similar effect. :)
